Home/Areas/New South Wales/Mudgee
Mudgee's two economies
both run on paperwork.
Coal to the north, vines to the south, and a main street of small businesses feeding both. One machine at your own place takes the writing, the chasing and the finding off whoever is currently doing all three.
Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos · works with no connection at all · seasonal staff cost nothing
Very different businesses, very similar Mondays.
One side sells a weekend. The other side sells a shift. Both post the paperwork late.
Wine, food and the people who come for it
Cellar doors, restaurants, accommodation and event operators trade hardest exactly when the office is shut. By Monday there is a week of supplier invoices, roster changes, licensing and food safety records, plus every enquiry email that arrived while somebody was pouring. Speak it into the machine and it comes back as sent items.
The contracting layer behind the mines
Ulan, Moolarben and Wilpinjong keep a serious contracting trade in town — earthmoving, electrical, fabrication, labour hire, transport. That work is bought and paid for on documents: inductions, safe work method statements, plant maintenance records, variations, and invoices matched against a purchase order.
Most of it lands on the same person.
Owner, bookkeeper, safety officer and the one who answers the phone — usually the same chair.
That is the shape of a Mudgee business, and it is the reason a per-head AI subscription reads like a joke here: you would be buying one seat for someone already doing five jobs. A machine bought once does not care how many hats are on the desk, and it does not stop at the town boundary either — the accountant in Gulgong, the surveyor working out of Rylstone and the small firm at Kandos all buy the same box.
If the whole idea is unfamiliar, what a private AI server actually is explains it without jargon, and the five machines are listed with what each one is sized for.
Getting one in, out here.
Install day
We plug it into your network, you open it in a browser, and nothing goes onto anybody's laptop. Then we stay and work through your real documents with whoever is going to use it, because a machine that nobody was shown properly gets switched off by August.
Towns we come to
Support afterwards is a phone call and a remote session, and it works the same whether your office is on Church Street or on a block well outside town, because the machine is yours and it is already running.
We do not have a Mudgee client yet who has agreed to be named, and we will not borrow anyone else's. When one says yes, their story replaces this paragraph.
Other pages worth a look: Wollongong if you have an office on the coast as well, Newcastle if the Hunter end is where your clients are, New South Wales for the state-wide picture, and the areas hub for everywhere else.
Asked around Mudgee.
We run a cellar door and a vineyard on the one ABN. Which machine?
We size the machine from the chosen models, document length and simultaneous use rather than a fixed headcount rule. For two buildings, the quote records whether they share a suitable network, what access is needed and any work assigned to your IT provider.
Most of our people are seasonal. Do casuals cost extra?
There is no per-user Harness fee under current installed-system pricing. Seasonal and part-time accounts are covered by the written licence terms, while capacity still determines the right machine. Prices exclude GST; see the current registration and quote treatment.
There is no signal down at the block. Can anything be recorded out there?
Yes, where the recording is lawful and authorised. Capture it locally, then transfer it to the appliance when you return to the office network. The written scope records the capture, transfer, transcription and retention path.
Can it learn the way we write about our own wines?
It picks up a house style from a handful of examples on install day, which covers most of it. If you want it properly trained on years of your own tasting notes and back labels, fine-tuning starts at $2,000 as a fixed quote, and smaller adjustments are $200/hour.
Twenty minutes and a working machine.
We bring one out, run it on your own invoices, notes and files while you watch, and leave you with a price rather than a proposal.
