The catchment is the business.
A Dubbo firm is not really a Dubbo firm. It is the office where the Orana's paperwork gets done.
An accountant here might have clients at Narromine, Gilgandra, Warren and Trangie. A solicitor takes instructions over the phone from a kitchen table two hundred properties out. Little of it happens face to face — and the record is a file note that somebody has to write from memory that evening, or on Friday, or not at all.
That is the job this does best. Speak the note while it is fresh, or record the call with everyone's agreement, and the self-hosted assistant hands the write-up back structured, with the actions listed and names against them. The judgement stays yours. The typing stops being the reason the file is behind.

Health, and the clinics that travel
Dubbo's hospital came out of a redevelopment worth more than $240 million, and it anchors health services across an enormous slice of western New South Wales. Add the flying doctor base at the airport and the visiting specialists who run outreach clinics, and you get a pattern nowhere near the coast produces: a full day of patients in a town far from the rooms, then a stack of letters to write once you are back.
Dictate them as you go and have them drafted in your own template for review. In the standard local configuration the recording is processed on the appliance; the complete data path and any connected exceptions still need to be checked.
Lamb, grain and freight
The livestock markets north of town are among the largest in the country, the export abattoir beside them is the region's biggest private employer, and three highways meet here with a rail intermodal in the middle. That trade generates consignment notes, dockets, kill sheets and invoices in industrial quantities.
Headcount does not move the number.

Most of our client contact is by phone. Can it write the file note from a call?
Yes, where everyone on the call has agreed to it being recorded. Record on an office PC, or on a phone joined to the office wifi with no app to install, and back come the summary, the decisions and the actions with names against them. Raw audio is deleted after thirty days by default, and that setting is yours to change.
Staff turn over here. How much training does a new person need?
Very little — it is a chat box in a browser and there is nothing to install on their PC. The more useful part runs the other way: what your office has taught the machine about how you draft, what your templates look like and how a file is put together stays on the machine rather than walking out with whoever resigned.
We act for people out past Nyngan and Coonamble. Does the machine need to reach them?
Core local chat, approved document search and transcription can run without an internet connection. Email, web research, integrations, updates and remote support cannot. The quote records which parts of your workflow are local and which are connected.
We run a stock and station agency and a real estate office out of the same building. One machine?
Potentially, if the delivered access design passes the required separation tests. The quote must name the projects, groups and file boundaries for each business, plus sample checks showing that one side cannot see the other's restricted material. Capacity still depends on concurrent use rather than licence seats.
