Private AI in Coffs Harbour,
with nothing sent away.
The health campus and the rooms beside it, the packing sheds behind Woolgoolga, the small practices from Sawtell to Moonee — a machine at your own premises, running a local model that turns a recording into a written note and a folder into an answer.
Coffs · Sawtell · Woolgoolga — on site, bought once, no per-user Harness fee
One strip, three business towns.
They read like one place on a map and behave like three when you look at the invoices.
Coffs Harbour — health, mostly
The health campus serves a broad regional catchment, and specialist and allied health rooms carry the resulting correspondence load. That makes draft letters, approved local transcription and document retrieval practical workflows to test.
Woolgoolga — the growing country
The blueberry industry that grew out of the old banana country now accounts for the overwhelming majority of production in this state, with macadamias coming up behind it. Behind every shed is a filing cabinet: supplier specs, spray and harvest records, labour paperwork, buyer correspondence. Most of it has to be produced on request rather than merely kept, which is a different problem to solve.
Sawtell and Toormina — small and busy
Rooms of one to four people: allied health, conveyancers, bookkeepers, hospitality along First Avenue. Small teams get the worst of per-seat AI pricing, because the corporate rate applies whether you are four people or four hundred.
Two peaks, and the typing each one leaves.
Visitors, then harvest
School holidays fill the accommodation, the beaches and the jetty precinct, and the bypass works are still rearranging how traffic moves through town. Harvest runs on a different calendar again. Neither peak waits for the admin to catch up.
What changes is that the writing-up stops queueing. A day of consults, site visits or bookings is dictated as it happens and comes back as finished documents, not as a pile for Sunday.
Bought once, then it is yours
No per-user Harness subscription or per-message model charge. Electricity, backup, support and connected services still have ordinary costs.
The three-year comparison against subscriptions does the arithmetic properly, the five machine sizes are set out on their own page, and the full price list holds no surprises.
Where we come out to.
Up and down the coast strip and back into the hills behind it.
Before anyone books a visit, we can run a free Teams demonstration using a redacted or non-sensitive example. Choose something representative of the awkward work, not confidential production data.
Inland there is a page for Armidale, and further south one for Lake Macquarie. The New South Wales page sets out the on-site arrangement, and everywhere we install is listed together.
Questions from the Coffs Coast.
Most of our crew is seasonal. Does headcount change what we pay?
Not at all. Accounts are $0 and there is no monthly charge, so a full packing shed in November costs exactly what a quiet one in August costs. The machine is bought once, and the number of people on it is your business rather than ours.
Can it work through the audit and supply paperwork we keep for the supermarkets?
It can search it and draft from it. Point it at the folder of specifications, records and correspondence, ask the question in plain English, and the answer comes back with the passage it read so you can open the source before anything goes out. It does not sign your audit off — that is still a person's job, and should be.
We're three rooms at Sawtell with no IT person. Who looks after it afterwards?
We hand it over working and nothing goes on your own PCs, so there is very little to break. Support after that is phone and screen share. The $600 a year buys a site visit, a health check and model upgrades — it is optional, and plenty of small rooms skip it and simply ring when they want something.
Our patients come from Bellingen and the Nambucca too. Does that complicate anything?
Client location does not change the local appliance. What matters is staff access, simultaneous use and the approved process for sending final work. Use representative letters in the acceptance set so output quality and review effort are tested before handover.
Book a 20-minute chat.
Twenty minutes with a redacted or non-sensitive example. Check the output, source trail and limits before deciding.
