Hosted AI services add a provider and processing path that must be assessed. An acceptance-tested, air-gapped configuration can remove that path for approved local workflows. Our tender and prequalification packs are commercially sensitive. Where do they end up?
In the standard local configuration, approved document search and drafting run on your appliance. Web research, integrations, remote support, updates and off-site backups remain separate, documented exceptions. How that boundary works is here.
Supervisors dictate notes in the ute on twelve-hour shifts. Does that work out here?
Yes, when the phone recording is captured locally and transferred to the appliance after it returns to the office network. That workflow does not need to stream the recording, but the exact capture, transfer and retention steps are confirmed in the written scope.
Can it learn our own procedures, forms and safety documents?
It can be given them to work from, which covers most of what people want. Where a firm needs it trained deeper on its own body of work, that is fine-tuning from $2,000, and anything bespoke is $200 an hour — both quoted in writing before a minute is spent.
We have a workshop at Mount Thorley and an office in town. One machine or two?
Usually one, sitting wherever the documents already live, with the other site reaching it over the link you have. If the two are not properly joined we will say so on the visit and price the fix separately, so the AI quote stays honest.
